Wotpods are manufactured in China through a quality-managed partner facility, then inspected, accessorised, and warrantied in Australia. After building teardrop caravans by hand in Australian workshops from 2018 to approximately 2022, Wotpods transitioned to Chinese manufacturing to access machinery and precision metalwork — including aluminium composite panel (ACP) construction and 4mm thick steel chassis (the Australian industry average is 2.5–3mm) — that wasn’t achievable in a small local workshop.
The founder personally video-inspects every unit before it leaves the factory and maintains daily communication with the manufacturing team. A federal-level Quality Management System is in place, and a proper import/dealership licence is held. On arrival in Australia, all accessories — batteries, fridges, stoves, gas fittings — are installed locally to ensure warranty accountability. The 12-month warranty is honoured at your nearest RV centre nationwide, not requiring a return to any central workshop.
