Prices shown below are cost in China. To cover shipping, taxes, local fitouts (fridge, TV, stove, batteries etc.) and Australian warranty, add about $10 – 14k, largely depending on size. Meaning, you could effectively be camping in a pod others would sell you for $30k, for less that $25k. Keep in mind that a cheap model costs the same to ship as a more elaborate teardrop caravan.
Why are we offering this? Because some companies are selling these exact teardrops, but claiming they build them in Australia… and we’re a bit over it.
Our own Wotpod models are manufactured in China, but with our specific designs, material choices, independent inspections and heightened quality control measures. We also built Wotpods in Australia for 4-years.
